Sound familiar?

"You're paying for tools every month that you're still not quite sure how to use. Tools that technically work, but not in a way that feels simple or intentional."

You have watched the webinars. You have read the recommendations. You have moved from one platform to another, hoping this one would be the one that finally made things feel simple.

And still, your tech is sitting there in the background, quietly taking up mental space.

None of that means you're bad at this. No one ever showed you how to judge the tools you're paying for.

Not which ones to pick. Not whether what you have is working. Not how to tell the difference between a tool that is a genuine problem and one that just needs to be used differently.

That is what this is for.

What you walk away with

A calm, structured way to look at your tech and make a decision you can trust.

Your Tech, Simplified™ walks you through the three core areas of your online business technology: your email platform, your website, and your selling and delivery tools.

For each area, you score what you have across five criteria, answer a few reflection questions, and land on a clear stay-or-switch indicator. Then the Action Plan section pulls it all together.

No upselling

No recommendation that fits everyone, and no agenda about what to buy.

A real look

At what you have, and a clear plan for what to do about it.

Written in your words

Your Action Plan is yours: one realistic next step you actually commit to.

Works for any setup

The framework applies regardless of which platforms you're currently using.

What a finished Action Plan can look like: "Email: keep, it's working. Website: fine, but I'm overpaying for what I actually use, revisit in Q4. Selling and delivery: this is the real problem, consolidate to one checkout this month." One page, in your words, and a decision you can act on.

What's inside

Six short audio pieces. One workbook. A lot of clarity.

Total audio: about 35 minutes. Total experience: one honest afternoon with your tech, and a plan that fits how you work.

Foundation

Context for everything that follows. Normalizes the overwhelm. Introduces the all-in-one vs. individual tools question before you touch any specific platform.

"Renee Shupe is awesome to work with! She did a blog review for me and she did a very thorough job. She provided me with a video review, so it was really easy to follow... She suggested changes for my site that I had never even thought of... I'm not a tech person at all... She explained things very clearly and I was able to follow her instructions and make the changes she suggested. I would definitely work with Renee again!"

Who it's for

I built this with someone specific in mind.

You'll get a lot from this if…

  • You have been running your online business for a while and you are not sure your tech setup has kept up with where you are now.
  • You are just getting started and you want to make informed decisions instead of just doing whatever a webinar told you to do.
  • You have switched platforms before and you are not sure you actually solved the right problem.
  • You are paying for tools you do not fully use and you want to understand why.
  • You want someone to walk you through this in a calm, honest way without being told what to buy.

It's probably not for you if…

  • You are looking for a tutorial on how to use a specific platform. This is an evaluation framework, not a how-to course.
  • You want someone to build your tech setup for you. This gives you clarity to make your own decisions.
  • You are expecting a one-size-fits-all recommendation. There is no such thing. That is rather the point.

"She is extremely patient and understanding and never makes you feel like you should know all the things. Everyone needs a Renee in their life."

The Quiet Rebel™ Mentor

I have been building businesses online since 2008. In that time, I have used more platforms than I can count, made tech decisions I have regretted, and spent more hours than I want to admit trying to make tools work that were never the right fit.

What I know now, that I did not know then, is that most of the confusion comes from one thing: not having a clear way to size up what you already have.

I built Your Tech, Simplified™ because I wanted a calm, clear framework that helps solopreneurs see what they have, decide what to do about it, and stop letting their tech live in the background as a low-grade source of frustration.

That is what this is.

Questions

A few things people ask

How long does it take?
The six audio pieces total about 35 minutes. Working through the workbook alongside them takes most people another 30 to 60 minutes. You can do it all in one sitting or spread it across a few sessions.
Is this specific to any platform?
No. The diagnostic framework works regardless of what tools you are currently using. It is not tied to any specific platform, and it does not recommend one. The goal is clarity about your current setup, not a sales pitch for something new.
I am just getting started. Will this work for me?
Yes. The Foundation section specifically addresses the getting-started scenario, including the all-in-one vs. individual tools question that most beginners never consciously make. If you are about to make your first tech decisions, this helps you make them intentionally.
What format does it come in?
The audio pieces are mp3 recordings. The workbook is a PDF designed to be printed or filled in digitally. Both are accessible immediately after purchase.
What if I already know I need to switch platforms?
The Action Plan section includes a calm transition checklist specifically for this. It walks you through making a platform switch deliberately, without disrupting your business in the process.
What if everything in my diagnostic turns out to be fine?
That is a completely valid outcome. Sometimes the most useful thing a diagnostic can do is confirm that what you have is working, and give you permission to stop second-guessing it. That clarity has real value too.
